Program Associate Deepanshu Ahuja Joins CLASP’s India Team

CLASP is happy to announce the addition of yet another new member to our international team. On September 1, 2012, Mr. Deepanshu Ahuja joined CLASP’s India team as a Program Associate. Deepanshu has five years of experience in public and private sector organizations in the field of energy efficiency.

Prior to joining CLASP, Deepanshu worked as a Project Engineer with the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE), coordinating and managing activities related to the design and implementation of India’s S&L program.  He also assisted BEE in conducting monitoring and verification activities.  Before joining BEE, Deepanshu worked as an Executive in the Research and Development department at Lakshmi Precision Screws Pvt. Ltd. in India, where he was involved in the design and development of Fasteners and Automotive components such as gear shafts and cam brakes.

As a Program Associate at CLASP, Deepanshu will provide programmatic and technical support for the design and execution of India’s appliance S&L program. He will oversee data collection and analysis for CLASP research and tools, including energy modeling activities. Additionally, Deepanshu will serve as the primary point of contact for manufacturers and other S&L stakeholders who participate in technical committees.

Deepanshu holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Maharishi Dayanand University, Rohtak (Haryana), India.
