Ari joined CLASP in 2013 and currently serves as CLASP’s Senior Director of Research. He has nearly two decades of experience managing projects and programs that use appliance standards and labeling, testing, and certification to deliver more energy-efficient and higher-quality products to consumers. Ari holds bachelor’s degrees in mathematics and viola performance from Oberlin College and Conservatory and a master’s degree in public policy from the University of Maryland. In addition to working at CLASP, Ari enjoys singing, playing viola, listening to music, spending time outside, and relaxing with his wife and two children.
