Nishant is a Senior Associate for CLASP’s climate portfolio in India. Nishant brings over 8 years of expertise in the energy efficiency and climate change sector. Prior to joining CLASP, he held the position of Manager at PwC India, overseeing projects focused on energy efficiency market assessments, policy research, and feasibility studies both domestically and internationally. His collaborations with government bodies in India such as the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) and State Designated Agencies (SDAs) have been instrumental in shaping initiatives such as the “State Energy Efficiency Action Plan” and strengthening the capacity of power distribution companies  to implement energy-efficient technologies.

Nishant holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the College of Engineering, Roorkee. Outside of work, he’s a passionate football enthusiast and enjoys traveling.
