Associate, Policy & Analysis

CLASP seeks highly motivated candidates to help us design and execute our global portfolio of product energy efficiency programs and projects. The Associate will join the Policy & Analysis team, which provides world-class technical and policy advisory services on product energy efficiency standards and labeling programs to government and other key stakeholders around the world.

Director – Nairobi, Kenya

CLASP seeks a Director for its East Africa office in Nairobi, Kenya to lead its growing team and implement a wide range of appliance market development and policy support initiatives currently underway in the region. The ideal candidate will have an extraordinary capacity for program development, execution and administration, expertise on African market and policy dynamics, world class collaboration and communication skills, a commitment to impacts and results, and a sense of humor. Coordinator, Clean Energy Access – Nairobi, Kenya

CLASP’s Market Development & Innovation team works in partnership with stakeholders across Africa and South Asia to improve markets for energy efficient, high-quality appliances, both on and off the grid. CLASP is seeking an experienced and motivated professional with an interest and/or background in energy access, international development, policy, and/or engineering to help us execute our portfolio of clean energy access initiatives. This position is full-time and based in our Nairobi, Kenya office. CLASP and CEA Recruiting have partnered with Duma Works for this search.

Research Associate, Clean Energy Access – Nairobi, Kenya

CLASP is seeking an experienced research professional with an interest and/or background in energy access, international development, policy, and/or engineering to help us execute our portfolio of clean energy access initiatives. The Associate will work as part of a dynamic international team to contribute to the success of the Low-Energy Inclusive Appliances (LEIA) program, which focuses on accelerating off- and weak-grid markets for highly efficient appliances, and other related initiatives. Program Manager – Jakarta, Indonesia

CLASP seeks a Program Manager to lead a new program aimed at developing the market for efficient products in Indonesia with the ultimate goal to deliver significant energy savings and carbon emissions reductions. The Program Manager will lead the design, launch, and management of a wide range of activities and initiatives in support of product energy efficiency policy in Indonesia, and will work collaboratively with CLASP team members in the United States, India, Europe, and elsewhere, along with our wide network of international partners and program stakeholders.

Communications Internship, Market Development & Innovation

CLASP seeks a highly motivated intern to support its communications and outreach efforts. The Intern will support the CLASP Market Development & Innovation team, which works in partnership with stakeholders across Africa and South Asia to improve markets for energy efficient, high-quality appliances, both on and off the grid. The exact assignment(s) will depend both on our needs and on your skills, expertise and interest.
