For over thirty years, Mr. P.K. Mukherjee has worked on national and international electro-technology policies and standards. After joining the Bureau of Indian Standards in 1981, he retired in 2009 as Deputy Director General. Since then, Mr. Mukherjee has worked as a Senior Advisor for CLASP India. Some of his work includes drafting national standards on room air conditioners and LED lamps, in addition to energy efficiency standards for industrial boilers and voltage stabilizers.
