CLASP Safety Response to the New Coronavirus, COVID-19

In order to safeguard our team and the global community against the spread of COVID-19, CLASP has taken several actions.

On 26 February, CLASP suspended all professional travel—both international and domestic. The travel moratorium will remain in effect until further notice. We will continue to monitor changes and reassess the risk factors.

In addition, each of our offices began teleworking last Friday, 13 March, in an effort to practice social distancing. CLASP leadership is monitoring both local and international guidance, asking team members to “stay put and stay healthy” at this time.

“Our greatest concern is the safety of our team. We want to thank our international partners for their continued collaboration during this time and look forward to seeing you all via teleconference,” said
Christine Egan, CLASP CEO.

As schools, daycares, and other social spaces close in order to reduce exposure to the virus, CLASP expects team members to prioritize the health and safety of themselves and their loved ones. We will continue to telework and connect remotely for meetings, with as minimal disruption to regular work function as possible. As we navigate this pandemic, delayed responses are possible.
